Meerufenfushi Island belongs to the North Male Atoll, located northeast of the capital of the Maldives, Male. The resort is the only accommodation facility on Meerufenfushi Island. It is 1200 m long and 350 m wide, and covers an area of about 32 hectares. It is about a 55-minute speedboat ride from Velan International Airport in Male.
The resort has its own 1.5 km long sandy beach surrounded by a beautiful lagoon.
There are 284 rooms in the resort. Of these, there are: 77 Jacuzzi Water villas, 27 Water Front villas, 73 Jacuzzi Beach villas, 77 Beach villas, 20 Garden rooms and 10 Two bedroom villas.
Garden rooms (50 m²) are bungalows in a row, located in the interior of the island and have a terrace overlooking the garden. They include air conditioning, ceiling fan, tiled floor, bathroom with shower/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, TV, telephone, safe, mini bar, free Wi-Fi.
Beach villas (56 m²) are separate wooden villas facing the lagoon, with a terrace. The facilities are the same as in the garden room, with a semi-open bathroom.
Two bedroom villas (86 m²) facing the beach, located close to hotel facilities. They consist of two rooms (one with a double bed, the other with two single beds), one semi-open bathroom and another closed bathroom.
Jacuzzi Beach villas (80 m²) are located in the adult-only part of the beach. They have a private jacuzzi, a semi-open bathroom, a terrace with access to the sea and private sunbeds.
Water Front villas (60 m²) are located on the beach, in the adults-only section and have a jacuzzi. They are comfortably furnished, with a private terrace and beach chairs, they are in the first row to the sea.
Jacuzzi Water villas (86 m²) are villas with a jacuzzi that are located directly above the sea on stilts. They have a larger semi-open bathroom, with a wooden platform and direct access to the sea.
The service in the hotel is All Inclusive - self-service (selection of several dishes according to hotel rules) in the 2 main restaurants, Farivalhu and Maalan. It also has 2 a la carte restaurants, Asian Wok and Hot Rock (grilled dishes). Meru Cafe serves ice cream, sweets and pastries. There are 6 more bars in the complex at guests' disposal.
In the complex there is a swimming pool with a separate area for children, as well as a pool that is only for those over 18 years old. Other amenities include a boutique, jewelry store, library, and free Wi-Fi.
